My time at Mt. Zion Prep was a very good experience. One of the things I enjoyed was all the players on the team all wanted to go to college and play ball. So everyone pushed each other to do better and be better. The coaching staff is very knowledgeable and they also mentored us about life. It’s good to have people in your corner that can help you on and off the court. I’m a freshman at University of Tennessee on a full basketball scholarship I know I can still call Coach Rod, Coach B, and Coach Elliott AKA Coach Noodles for words of encouragement. I appreciate Mt. Zion Prep for helping to get my mind and my game ready for Division 1 basketball.
My time at Mt. Zion is one that I will never forget. The bonds I shared with my teammates and coaches have now become lifelong. I say this with no doubt in my mind, you will never find a greater group of teachers than you will at Mt. Zion. Coach Rod, Brian, and Elliott are special because they are in this game for the right reasons. They taught me to become a better man and their knowledge of the game is one of a kind. At Mt. Zion they truly care about each player and those three coaches would run through a brick wall for us. Sure at times it wasn’t easy, but that is life, through the tough times and the good ones, I knew every day that my teammates and coaches had my back and that kept me going. I loved my time at Mt. Zion and recommend it for every young kid trying to better themselves as a player and as a person.
